We’re Back in Zambia
We returned to Zambia March 1st after being in the USA for three months. After landing in the capital city, Lusaka, we spent a week with our co-workers meeting and planning this year’s work. Then last week we drove to the eastern part of the country to the town of Chipata where we now live. The drive took us 7 ½ hours and we’re thankful that we didn’t hit any cows, goats, chickens or bicyclists along the way.
We’re thankful for a good road in Zambia, despite the many animals along the way like these goats.
The last part of our trip up the hill to our home is the worst of the road.
We’re thankful to have water as we were told there has been no water at our place for two weeks. With the cholera outbreak. we are boiling then filtering our drinking water.
